Chairman Anderson Tsai Leads Employees in Person to Demonstrate Corporate Social Responsibility

The third Saturday of every March is a heartwarming day dedicated to "Angel's Families" (families with special needs children). The 17th "336 Angel's Day," organized by the Angel Heart Family Social Welfare Foundation and co-organized by the Department of Social Welfare of the Taipei City Government, grandly took place today at the future site of Heng-Guang Elementary School in Wenshan District. Taiwan K.K. Corp., a long-standing supporter of social causes, served as a co-organizer this year. Chairman Anderson Tsai attended in person, leading his team to step into the community and spread the core values of "Understanding, Acceptance, and Friendship."

Chairman Anderson Tsai: Corporations Must Be a Pillar of Strength for Families

At the event, Chairman Anderson Tsai stated that the medical, caregiving, and psychological pressures faced by Angel's Families in daily life are often beyond public imagination. Taiwan K.K. Corp. has long focused on social welfare, believing that corporate power should extend beyond production to encompass care for life. By participating today, the company aims to let these families know they are not alone and that society is willing to slow down and embrace them.

Chairman Tsai emphasized that when parents are willing to "step out," there is hope for the children. Beyond financial support, Taiwan K.K. Corp. hopes that through the "Friendly Week" initiatives, the spirit of friendship will extend from the event day into corporate culture and daily life.

From Hiking to Charity Markets: Building an Inclusive and Friendly Community

This year's event centered on the theme of "walking with families," featuring a grand friendly hike led by a marching band, combined with volunteers and creative costumes to transform the streets of Wenshan into a road of joy. Employees from Taiwan K.K. Corp. actively participated in the hike and interactive challenges, engaging deeply with Angel's Families to break down social barriers.

In addition to stage performances by the FOCASA Circus and Kaleidoscope Theater Group, the venue featured a "Friendly Charity Market" and a "Shared Play Area." As a co-organizer, Taiwan K.K. Corp. not only supported the event's execution but also promoted the cause internally, encouraging employees to wear the "336 Friendly Angel Badge" as a symbol of their commitment to being friendly toward special needs families.

Continuing Deep Commitment to Welfare for a Sustainable Future

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, there are over 630,000 special needs households in Taiwan, meaning 1 in every 10 families is an Angel's Family. The Angel Heart Family Foundation noted that many families lose the courage to go outside due to fear of public misunderstanding. Deeply moved by this, Taiwan K.K. Corp. plans to continue collaborating with non-profits to integrate social inclusion into its ESG and sustainability goals, aligned with SDG 3 on good health and well-being.

Through today's 336 event, Taiwan K.K. Corp. hopes to inspire more enterprises to pay attention to the needs of special needs families. Chairman Tsai concluded that today is just the beginning, and he hopes the seeds of understanding and friendship will grow in every participant's heart, making Taiwan the most friendly land for Angel's Families.
